XXX Church Video

Hey this conversation came up in the last post so I thought it would make sense to address the issue of pornography in this new post. If you have never heard of the XXX CHurch before and you are in need of it...stop reading this post and go to www.xxxchurch.com now! There is free downloadable accountability software called (X3 Watch)that you can use to allow others chosen by you to be fully aware of your internet activity! If you need to fill in an email address for an accountability partner feel free to use wayofthepastor@comcast.net Believe me I will be watching! Hope this video and conversation helps someone out there who feels like there is no help!

  1. Joe,

I'm already using it, and I knew of the software. That is an awesome resource because we all can become victim of doing this. It's sad how most of us choose not to open that Bible and instead reach for the computer. You have to get accountable with someone and choose each day to pray and get in the word over what most of us used to do. Sadly most of us live like it's not a problem, and pretend like nothing is wrong at all.

Ephesians 5:3-7 reads, " 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them."

Anyone can obviously read that God's standard for sexual purity is nowhere what the world thinks of it. Again, marriages are being torn apart, lives are being destroyed and Satan is sadly winning this battle because most would rather stand silent on this issue. I'll share more at some point in time, but I've already called a whole group of guys out on the carpet. They needed to hear my story, where I've come from, and know that there is hope, and it can be defeated. It's not easy by any stretch, but if you seek Him daily, you can lose those chains that bind you.

  2. Love their stuff...they do great work in a hard industry. I have been following them for a while and recommend them whenever I hear someone is in need of freedom.

Thanks for talking about the battle against lust and Internet porn. Its a battle many of us face and is an important issue to address in the church today.

Have you heard of Covenant Eyes accountability software?

Just a suggestion: when you post a video from youtube you may want to click the bubble "Don't include related videos" when you customize the embed code. I've learned the hard way that related videos can include some smutty stuff that I may not want on my blog.

    Thanks again!

  4. Yes I have heard of Covenant Eyes. Always heard great things about it and even recommanded it when needed. Has anyone read "Every Man's Battle?" Good book!
